Canadian Processing Routing Number
Routing numbers in the ACHeck21 system will almost always be 9 digits long. Canadian routing numbers are approximately 8 digits long in contrast to the American 9. To find the required digits, first acquire a void check from the customer.
Refer to the following image for a breakdown of where to find relevant information on the check;
When boarding a merchant onto the ACHeck21 Gateway, type in a leading 0, the institution number, then the transit number. Using the above image as an example, we see the institution number is "010" and the transit number is "12345" Therefore, in the "transit #" box on the ACHeck21 Gateway, you will enter "001012345".
